Hulya Oyman, President of Turkish Translation Services was educated at İstanbul University and received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Sciences in 1979.

As well as residing as president of Turkish Translation Services, she has held as position as Assistant and Selector of Turkish Books in Languages and Performing Arts section at the Toronto Reference Library between Sept. 1981 – Apr. 2012. 

She was  the only certified Turkish-English and English-Turkish translator in Canada and  a member of both ATIO and CTC. (Licence no: 1840)  between 1989 -2004. During that time, she has provided a wide range of translation and interpretation services both from Turkish to English and English to Turkish and  attended numerous formal meetings as the official translator of Public Works of Canada when Turkish dignitaries visited their Canadian counterparts.   She has acted as the official interpreter of the Honorable Jean Chretien, former Prime Minister while he attended an International Conference in İstanbul in 1999.

Ms. Oyman has also provided translation/interpretation services to many lawyers, translation agencies,  insurance companies, Previous North York Board of Education,  Health Care Organizations, Teacher’s College, WSIB Board (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board), Tribunal Hearings, Ministry of Labour cases, Traffic Courts, and Criminal Courts upon invitation by a Prosecutor Attorney and/or  Ministry.
